Hello Bead Friends,
We are back with a new Tutorial , this time we will continue our adventure in the beadweaving world using Miyuki beads. Today we will make our brand new Ipazia Bracelet with both peyote stitch and herringbone stitch, i've called them like this in honor if Ipazia of Alexandria one of the first female mathematician of our time. La square shape and the alternating colors remind me of granny squares made in crochet. Do you see it too?
This project is perfect intermediate beaders who have already tried out our easier projects. Its important to use the correct thread to get the right tension. I've used KO thread and think it perfect for the project but if you own already our Fireline 0.006in then that will work too.
Here is the list of materials you will need:
- KO Thread white
- Wax for thread
- Needles size 10
- Miyuki Delica beads in 4 colors (3gr for each color)
- Miyuki Round beads size 15/0 1gr in one color only
- 13 Swarovski bicones size 3mm
- 1 complete clasp : 1 lobster clasp, 2 small jumprings open, 1 double jumpring large
- Scissors, beadmat and pliers (extra to have)
